We are the Mfantsipim Foundation, dedicated to preserving the legacy and traditions of Mfantsipim, fostering community engagement, and supporting educational excellence for current and future generations.
Who We Are
Mfantsipim Foundation is a charity registered in England and Wales (1042983). It operated as Mfantsipim Old Boys Association (MOBA) UK and Ireland from 1984 and registered with The Charity Commission in 1994. The Foundation was formed in 2006 and launched in 2008 by His Excellency Dr Kofi Atta Annan, the seventh Secretary-General of the United Nations, whose alma mater is Mfantsipim School. The affairs and administration of the Foundation are regulated by the Charity Commissioners for England and Wales. The Foundation is set up to promote education at Mfantsipim School in Cape Coast and its supporting environment. It welcomes support from all Mfantsipim Old Boys, and sponsorships from any organisations and individuals globally.
What We Do
We coordinate fundraising activities for Mfantsipim School and the Cape Coast Metropolitan area.
We have acquired and donated scientific equipment and ICT tools to Mfantsipim School, in addition we aim to fund scholarships, awards, prizes, teaching aids and mentoring projects. (rephrase)
