We are a UK based non-profit organisation dedicated to the advancement of education at Mfantsipim School and the Cape Coast Metropolitan area of Ghana

In Action since 1986
Established in 1986 by Old Boys in the UK, the organisation was relaunched as Mfantsipim Foundation in 2008 by His Excellency Kofi Annan, the seventh Secretary-General of the United Nations. Our mission is to uplift education and expand opportunities in Ghana.
Who We are
Mfantsipim Foundation is a charity registered in England and Wales (Charity Number: 1042983). It operated as Mfantsipim Old Boys Association (MOBA) UK and Ireland from 1986 and registered with The Charity Commission in 1994. It was formed in 2006 and launched in 2008 by His Excellency Kofi Annan, whose alma mater is Mfantsipim School. The affairs and administration of Mfantsipim Foundation are regulated by the Charity Commission for England and Wales.

What We Do
We coordinate fundraising activities for Mfantsipim School and the Cape Coast Metropolitan area.
We support MOBA Year Groups in their respective Speech and Prize Giving Day activities.
Our signature event is the Annual Founders Day Thanksgiving Service and Luncheon held at the Methodist Central Hall Westminster in the last week of April. We also organise other events such as charity balls, barbecues, talks and symposia.
We acquire and donate scientific equipment and ICT tools to Mfantsipim School, and fund scholarships, awards, prizes, teaching aids and mentoring projects.
We sustain the interest of Mfantsipim Old Boys in the diaspora by organising meetings and functions.

Your Contributions
All donations will go to promote education at Mfantsipim School and the Cape Coast metropolitan area We welcome support from all Mfantsipim Old Boys, and sponsorships from any organisations and individuals globally.
Mfantsipim Foundation is funded purely by donations. There are no membership fees or dues.
In August 2023, we donated science equipment to Mfantsipim School worth over £6000
In April 2012, Mfantsipim Foundation proudly sponsored a two-week educational visit to the UK for Headmaster Mr. Koame Edjah, including tours of top UK independent, private, state, and tertiary institutions

In April 2009, we recorded an interview with the first African Headmaster of Mfantsipim, Dr. F. L. Bartels on the eve of his 100th Birthday
